Hello 4-H members!
Spring is in the air, and Open Enrollment is available for the 4-H Shooting Sports Program! Please check out the two disciplines now open.
- 4-H now has open enrollment for all youth ages 8 to 18 who want to join the archery club. The sessions are held on Fridays at 6:30 p.m. at the YSSA Range and academy, 3654 Ave of the Cities, Moline, IL. (King Plaza). Equipment is provided by, Youth Shooting Sports Association and grants from the 4-H, NRA, & USA Archery. There is a $20 annual 4-H program fee. If you have already paid the 2020- 2021 4-H program fee, you do not pay this fee. The Archery Spin club has an additional material $20 fee due for each 6-week session. This location may change as the weather permits and gets nicer. Please contact Bill Peterson at shootyssa@gmail.com or call 309-945-2108, to confirm the location before attending.

The sessions are held on Thursdays at 6 p.m. at the Bi-State Sportsman Association Inc. 571 Cleveland Rd, Colona, IL. Equipment and ammunition are provided by grants from 4-H, NRA, United Way, Midway USA, And many QCA Outdoor Organizations. There is a $20 annual 4-H program fee. If you have already paid the 2020-2021 4-H program fee, you do not pay this fee. The Shotgun Spin club has an additional material $50 fee due at the first 6-week session additional sessions have a reduced range fee.
If you have already enrolled has a 4-H member, all you need to do is add Shooting Sports to your club list in your 4-H Online profile. If you have trouble, I can add this club as well. Just send me, Tracy Pestle fowlerpe@illinois.edu or McCala Crawford mmmille@illinois.edu an email!
